BIO

JULIAN KNOXX´s talent and commitment to his trade are evident in his music. With his creative approach to electronic dance music he wins the respect and affection of the industry and music lovers around. He pushes the limits of electronic music with each new release, making a significant mark on the genre.

Born in Badnerland (Germany) in 1995, his start was kinda bumpy. Born without seeing the light of day, due to his eye disease ptosis (drooping of the eyelids), several treatments followed in a university clinic. Julian discovered his love for electronic dance music after his parents played him the song Sunchyme by Dario G. and L’amour Toujours by Gigi Dagostino when he was a child.

A few years later he learned to play the keyboard, drums at a music school and got his own keyboard and mixer. Even then he began to create his own melodies and rhythms and mixed songs together with two CD-Players connected to his mixer. From the sixth grade of secondary school onwards, he also became very interested in lighting, sound technology and IT. This enabled him to further improve his musical ear and talent.

After Julian discovered Keygen by Martin Garrix on SoundCloud in 2012, he really wanted to know how to make electronic music. Said and done. Meanwhile, several more years passed when a plan B in IT was worked on, Degree as an IT specialist for system integration, and he also worked as an LJ at a club on the weekends. Classically, after a few months he also started to take over the role of DJ when the DJ was not there for a short time. So Julian has found a lot of interest in DJing. At the beginning with deep house and tech house and later open genre with EDM, 80s, 90s, Rock, Pop etc.. The choice of music and the transitions were well received and he was able to successfully demonstrate his skills in many national gigs. Thanks to his skills and mentor, DJ Crisu, he had several residency clubs in southwest Germany.

Due to the Corona crisis, performances were no longer possible overnight. Julian put everything on one card and started uploading his first electronic tracks. Unfortunately his mentor passed away, which motivated him even more to do what he loves and to some extent, he does this for his mentor too.

With his first release in 2020, support from the Spotify platform („Line“ and „Never Let Me Go“ added to Editorial playlists) and DJs as Jonas Aden, Hugel, DJs From Mars, Paul van Dyk, VIZE, Don Diablo & Henri PFR was added. Since then he has also continued to develop as an artist. This is demonstrated by his single “Line” with over 3 million streams on Spotify and the #1 position in the US iTunes Dance Charts.
